JP lives in Summerlake Groves in Winter Garden, is father to Adolfo, a special needs angel, and Isabella, a typical teenager who thinks she's 30. He's an attorney by training, an entrepreneur at heart and an extremely thoughtful person. He is a frustrated Trumpeter and a lousy golfer who truly enjoys both.
JP is a results-oriented attorney, CPA and advisor with high ethical standards and a keen business sense. JP identifies, addresses and resolves legal, compliance, tax, and regulatory issues and disputes helping individuals and businesses solve their problems and seize opportunities. He primarily focuses on business law, tax, wills, estates & trusts, employment law and accounting. He is admitted to practice Public Accounting and Law in Florida, Texas and Puerto Rico.
JP received a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting and a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Puerto Rico in 1995 and 2004, respectively. He also holds a MBA with focus in Finance from Cornell University's Johnson Graduate School of Management, which he completed in 1999, and earned an LLM from Northwestern University's School of Law in 2009. He started his private practice in 2002 having held positions at Coopers & Lybrand, Pricewaterhouse Coopers and Banco Popular de Puerto Rico before doing so. JP also is a Certified Valuation Analyst, a Master Analyst in Financial Forensics and a Certified Fraud Examiner.
