Rachel DeSando, MS Ed., CCC-SLP is the Executive Director of SpeechForLife Therapy. Rachel is a bilingual (English & Spanish) American Speech-Language Hearing Association Certified Speech Language Pathologist, who is actively licensed in the states of Virginia, California, and Florida. She holds a Bachelor's and Master's Degree from her alma mater, Old Dominion University of Norfolk, Virginia. She has received the ASHA Award for Continuing Education, and specializes in early childhood speech, language, literacy (dyslexia), fluency (stuttering), and social skills. Rachel has experience working with children of many unique abilities including Autism, Dyslexia, Stuttering, and Developmental Delays. She utilizes a client-centered approach to deliver fun and meaningful therapy that will inspire and improve children's communication skills for a lifetime.

We offer teletherapy services, which includes occupational and speech therapy through secure, live, interactive face to face virtual visits via a computer or tablet. Our team is passionate about helping each child achieve their personal best, using innovative technology catering to each child's unique interests and abilities.
